Mystery Shopping

Postby YH Chua » Thu Apr 22, 2010 4:48 pm

Hello everyone,

We are a market research company based in Petaling Jaya. We are currently looking for people to be our mystery shopper in KK and Sandakan area. Mystery shoppers pose as normal customers to perform specific tasks — such as purchasing a product, asking questions or behaving in a certain way. After the shoppping is done, the mystery shopper would have to provide detailed feedback about their experiences, which usually requires the completion of a checklist. You will be paid for being a mystery shopper.

Please drop me an email if you are interested.

Alternatively, you can register at our website (http://www.crcg.com.my)

Thank you!

I work for a market research company. Anyone interested to be a mystery shopper in KK and Sandakan area? My current project involves visiting the bank to evaluate the staff and their level of customer service. You would have to spend at least 30 minutes at the bank. We would provide you with the questions and would brief you over the phone before you commence the task.

Please drop me an email if you are interested.

Thank you!

I seriously doubt you or anyone is allowed to conduct polls with bank staff given how busy they are already as it is coping with customer demands. How does this have anything to do with being a mystery shopper.

No logic.

And how do you know it will take only 30 minutes. What if the staff are too busy to answer the questions.

Do you have the approval of bank negara and the banks in question to conduct such a poll?

Dear airbus320,

I understand your concern. FYI, we are not conducting any polls. This research is requested by our client (one of the banks) to evaluate their own staff performance.

I hope that helped clear your doubts.

You still have NOT explained what this has to do with being a "mystery shopper."

How is this relevant?

Dear airbus320,

Thank you for your reply. This research is to evaluate whether the bank employees are adopting and complying with the company's standards and guidelines. Mystery shopping can help a company obtain a more realistic picture of how their customer service is being delivered. The feedback from the mystery shoppers can help improve the company's level of customer service.

For example, when we ask questions to the bank employees, we expect to be treated courteously and provided with accurate and relevant information. When customer service is being delivered more efficiently, it can generate customer satisfaction and promote customer loyalty.

Dear airbus320,

Thank you for your reply. Any chances of you being a mystery shopper or do you have any friends who might be interested? I need people from East Malaysia, especially in KK and Sandakan.

Thanks much!
